More Awesome Muse ic
My friends and I went to Muse at verizon last night. I’ve seen them before and definitely thought they put on a good show.
But last night, seriously blew the last show away! Everytime I see them, I can’t stop thinking about how insanely talented that guy is. I wish I could play like a tambourine, let alone the freaking piano, guitar and who knows what else.
Oh and it didn’t even rain on us! God must like Muse! And apparently it was pouring in HB so we got luuuuuuuucky!
I don’t care if you don’t really like Muse’s music, I highly recommend going to see them next time they’re around. No one will be disappointed. So worth it.
Conveniently, it’s Elsja’s last weekend here. And what better way for her to spend the last Friday night. Her favorite band ever and her bestest friends ever.
Now I would like to point out that I thought for sure James would be willing to go to a Muse show because they’re so great. But no. No giving in. Oh well. I’ll find another boy to go with. Well not really. I just won’t go.
Last thing. Muse has the best stage lighting ever!! It so beautiful and sparkly and makes the already incredibly powerful music ten gazillion times better. Yet another reason to go see Muse ASAP!!

Shittest band ever. Avril Lavigne and William Shatner doing a duo would be more interesting than this band. It’s disappointing the world supports such drivel. I’d need to be paid a lot of money to go see this band. Actually, my new fee for going to a Muse show - $1000.

I’m all for compromising and opening my mind to new things…but Muse aren’t new. Their music is outdated and lame and epitomises everything that is wrong with A&R at the majors. As for talented musicians…please. They can play, but it’s nothing special. Obviously James agrees (p.s. where’s my backup champ!?)

I can play the guitar and drums as well as any of those guys. Some piano, but it doesn’t really interest me. Sax would be cool, but tell me again why I should be jealous of the trombone and kazoo? In any case, it’s the songwriting I can’t stand, but his vocals take the cake for making me wanna cap myself. Enough about Muse now, we’re giving them too much of our time.

andrew i’ve never met you but I think i love you. I fuckin hate muse as much as you do. I really do not understand the hype and I think they are terribly terribly overrated. And jen, elsja, ben i have tried listening to their music but ….. it’s crap.
